1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply between you and Nova Restore Wellness, a registered massage therapy clinic at Unit 202-4555 Kingsway, Burnaby, BC. By booking an appointment, sending us a form, or using this website, you agree to them.

Our clinical obligations to you are set by the College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia. Nothing in these terms limits those obligations or your rights as a patient.

3. Fees, payment and billing

Current rates are published on our pricing page and are payable at the end of your visit. Rates may change; the rate shown when you book is the rate you pay for that appointment.

Where we direct bill your extended health plan, you are responsible for any portion your plan does not cover, and for the full fee if your insurer declines the claim. Coverage limits are set by your plan, not by us — it is worth confirming your remaining visits with your insurer.

For ICBC claims we bill ICBC directly for pre-approved visits. Treatment beyond what ICBC has approved is charged at our published rates.

4. Treatment, consent and conduct

Your therapist will explain the proposed treatment and obtain your consent before starting. You stay draped throughout, and you may modify or withdraw consent at any point during the session.

• You agree to give accurate health information, and to tell us about changes to your health or medications.
• We may decline or stop treatment where it would not be safe or clinically appropriate, and may refer you elsewhere.
• Inappropriate, threatening or intoxicated conduct ends the appointment immediately and the session is charged in full.
• This clinic provides therapeutic massage only. Any request for anything else ends the appointment and the therapeutic relationship.

5. Using this website

Everything on this site, including the writing on our blog, is general information about massage therapy. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for being assessed in person. If a symptom is severe, worsening, or new and unexplained, see a physician.

Please do not send detailed health information through a general enquiry form — use the intake form instead. How we handle what you send is described in our privacy policy.

The text, photographs and design of this site belong to Nova Restore Wellness and may not be copied or republished without permission. We aim to keep the site accurate and available but cannot guarantee it is free of errors or never interrupted.

6. Liability and governing law

To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising from use of this website is limited. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability relating to the provision of professional healthcare services.
